The firm has represented various contracting firms over the years in relation with public procurement, both in the tender and execution phase.

Besides contracting works, MDP also provides advice in relation to public supply contracts and public service contracts in a wide range of sectors.

Contracting authorities can also approach MDP for advice and assistance in dispute resolution.

Specific services:

• Providing assistance in drafting tender specifications, particularly answering legal questions in this regard;

• Providing assistance in negotiating with the public authorities;

• Providing assistance in making selection and award decisions and drawing up reports, particularly answering legal questions in this regard;

• Checking the legality of selection and award decisions and, where necessary, conducting litigation to suspend and set aside illegal decisions, or obtain compensation because of an unlawful award;

• Providing assistance in all possible performance-related problems and disputes and, where necessary, conducting legal proceedings: disputes relating to claims for compensation, settlements and contract extras, technical execution problems, etc.
